Wabi Sabi Culture
A dark red gate and a bright red umbrella, a decoration of little lights dancing among each other. We reached the entrance of Wabi Sabi Culture, and we ring the bell like when we go to visit a friend.
Few hundred meters from the ancient borgo of San Ginesio, on the drop-off a hill in the countryside of Marche, we just enter a bubble of Japan within contemporary Italy.
Some pre-existing pine trees and a rich and variegated vegetation dominated by the Japanese maples lets some rays of sun filter, softening the atmosphere in the silence and quite that lead immediately the visitor towards an inner state of regenerative reflection.
The space moves from outside to inside and time is set by a new rhythm. Thoughts change direction and go on less common routes. Sit in front of the door of our room decorated in perfect Japanese style, we admire the pond covered with lotus flowers and their large green leaves, listening to the notes of the tubular bells moved by the wind, losing the tension, letting thoughts and daily engagements go away, to listen to ourselves and to recover the dynamic energy that animates our most significative actions and that recharge itself when we focus on our inner self.
Wabi Sabi, the beauty of the natural imperfection that emerges with the flow of time: a vision of the world born from the Japanese aesthetic of the ancient Zen culture and that leads to appreciate the simplicity and to accept the imperfect and impermanent nature of everything.
The meditation at the sunrise in front of the Karesansui, the Japanese Rocky Landscape is the perfect way to start your day if you want to breathe the spirituality of this place.
And to end it, enjoy the experience of the Ofuro, the warm Japanese bath, diving into a handmade pool of Hinoki wood (Japanese cypress), precious and scented essence of the Kiso Valley, whose essential oils breathed during the bath facilitate the stress release.
Simply being and enjoying the embrace of a place that leads us in a journey towards new dimensions, looking for the space and the time living inside us.
